Jean Aubee

Regional Director - Investec Capital Solutions

With over 30 years financial services experience, Jean joined Investec Capital Solutions in 2019 to assist trading businesses with funding for working capital and growth. Before joining Investec, Jean worked for Lloyd's Bank Commercial Finance where she spent 10 years structuring working capital facilities for their London based clients, working predominately in the Construction Industry. In her early career, she enjoyed working across many roles for a national IFA and is professionally qualified to FPC 1, 2 & C and Cemap level. 

Nathan Barnes

Head of Direct Sales - Investec Capital Solutions

Nathan has been with Investec Capital Solutions since November 2018 and works closely with the Regional Sales Directors, introducing and helping to on-board new clients. Nathan and his team act as an internal source of business, contacting privately owned companies directly, to further understand their working capital requirements and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Simon Carter

Head of Sales - Investec Capital Solutions

Simon joined Investec in December 2016 having previously worked at Close Brothers, before becoming a founding Director of Touch Financial. More recently, Simon joined the start-up team of Amicus Commercial Finance before Investec’s acquisition in 2018. He has worked extensively in the working capital market both as a lender and as an introducer, whilst also being appointed to the board of the NACFB in 2015-16. 

Michael Levenstein

Regional Director - Investec Capital Solutions

Michael joined Investec Capital Solutions after gaining corporate and investment banking experience in other divisions at Investec. This experience was gained in South Africa and the United Kingdom as part of his chartered accountancy articles, within a range of teams such as our private equity investing arm, Principal Investments, Internal Audit and Investec Property.

Michael now provides flexible working capital and funding solutions to established owner-managed/mid-market businesses and entrepreneurs. His focus is on the London area, alongside our wider Private Company client group offering. In every deal considered, his aim is to provide clients and their companies with a bespoke funding plan that drives value and personal wealth creation, for the growth stage of businesses. Additionally, his emphasis is always placed on establishing a personal connection, where the relationship between you and your banking partner goes beyond the transaction.

Hugh Liddane

Head of Origination - Investec Capital Solutions

Hugh joined Investec in 2019 having previously spent 13 years at Lloyds Bank in Credit, Coverage, and Lending roles. He currently leads the origination team in Investec Capital Solutions helping businesses unlock working capital funding. Hugh has been in direct lending teams including cash flow, leveraged and Asset Backed for the last 12 years, with a particular focus on working capital for the last 7 years. The ICS team is focused on supporting SME and Mid-Corporate Management teams across the UK, to release working capital to fund growth and structure corporate transactions. Hugh is a CFA charter holder and has a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from The University of Bristol.

Jemina Mentz

Direct Sales - Investec Capital Solutions

Jemina joined Investec in January 2022. She graduated in 2018 with a BSc in Finance from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, USA. Jemina’s role in the Direct Sales Team is to establish relationships with owner-managed/mid-market businesses and entrepreneurs. Working alongside Regional Directors in the Private Companies Group to provide flexible, bespoke Working Capital and funding solutions. Jemina thoroughly enjoys building relationships new clients that spans over time building a trusted personal connection between client and banking partner.

Graham Plater

Regional Director - Investec Capital Solutions

Graham joined Investec in 2015 having previously spent 18 years at Bibby Financial Services in Sales and Senior Management roles, including MD for the Southern Region and a 2-year USA secondment. He currently works in the origination team in Investec Capital Solutions helping businesses unlock working capital funding. Prior to that, Graham worked for 18 years at Lloyds, Westpac and UCB in a variety of Banking and specialist commercial property funding roles. The ICS team is focused on supporting SME and Mid-Corporate Management teams across the UK, to release working capital to fund growth and structure corporate transactions. Graham holds the ACIB qualification.
