Marcus started as a Research Analyst in our German office in September 2024. He works in the Capital Structuring team and therefore deals with all financing issues from equity raising to debt financing.
Before starting as a Research Analyst in September, he already completed an internship at Investec. He also worked in the Investor Relations / Capital Markets team at KfW during his bachelor’s degree. He completed his bachelor’s degree in economics at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main.

Miró is Vice President in Switzerland.
Prior to joining Investec in 2024, he worked in PwC’s Corporate Finance / M&A group and for a Swiss M&A Boutique advising on several national and cross-border sell-side and buy-side transactions.
Miró has over 7 years of M&A experience and has worked on several deals across different industries with a focus on Industrials, TMT and Consumer.
In addition to a Bachelor and Master degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich, Miró also earned a PhD in business administration from the University of Zurich and is a CFA Charterholder.
Miró is fluent in English and German and speaks Italian and French.
Oliver commenced his role at Investec in 2023, based at our German office in Wiesbaden. His primary focus lies within the Technology, Services & Industrials sector. In addition to his internship at Investec, Oliver has gained experience in M&A through various investment banking boutiques (Covendit, Transfer Partners) and at a consulting firm (MHP).
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Konstanz. Furthermore, Oliver earned a Master’s degree from the NOVA School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, specializing in Financial Management.
