Investec Corporate and Investment Banking (“Investec”) has raised £100m for Blue Prism, one of the UK’s fastest-growing public tech companies.
Blue Prism will use the funds raised to invest in its continued growth. This includes significant investment in sales and marketing, bringing on additional technical experts and researchers to boost research and development; as well as further investment in Blue Prism Digital Exchange, an online marketplace for AI, cognitive and disruptive technologies.
Blue Prism is the market leader in robotic process automation (RPA), active in 67 countries across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. Investec advised on the company’s IPO, which took place in March 2016; since then Blue Prism’s market capitalisation has risen from £48.5m to £827.5m on 24 January 2019.
