Investec has advised Gooch & Housego Plc on the £400 million recommended offer by Arlington Capital Partners
About the deal
Our UK Investment Banking & Corporate Broking team is pleased to have advised Gooch & Housego PLC (“G&H”) on the £400 million recommended offer by Arlington Capital Partners VII, L.P. (“ACP”) at a price of 1,230 pence per G&H share.
The acquisition combines G&H’s deep expertise in mission-critical photonics and high-precision optical subsystems with ACP’s extensive experience investing in highly engineered businesses across aerospace, defence, life sciences and regulated technology markets. This is supported by G&H’s strategically attractive UK and US manufacturing footprint and the expected opportunity to accelerate investment, innovation and growth across attractive global end-markets.
