Investec has advised Prodways Group on the sale of AvenAo to Visiativ (Groupe SNEF)
About the deal
AvenAo is a value-added integrator and distributor of industrial software – primarily Dassault Systèmes – mainly serving SMEs and mid-cap companies (ETIs). The group offers a comprehensive offering covering the entire product design cycle. In addition, AvenAo provides value-added services: consulting, support and training. It positions itself as a strategic partner for the digital transformation of the industrial sector.
The group operates through 9 locations across France and serves a diversified customer base in aerospace & defense, consumer goods, industrial equipment, infrastructure & energy, and transportation & mobility.
Following a competitive process led by Investec, Visiativ (SNEF Group) was selected to support AvenAo’s next phase of development. The transaction will enable AvenAo to continue its growth and contribute to the creation of a French leader in Dassault Systèmes integration, leveraging strong synergies and an expanded industrial footprint.

Investec advised Prodways Group on the carve-out of AvenAo Group, including:
- Defining the transaction strategy
- Identifying and contacting potential acquirers
- Preparing marketing materials
- Organising and managing the auction
- Negotiating the transaction terms
