Victory for France's Delacour
Perrine Delacour claimed her second victory on the Ladies European Tour (LET) when she won the Investec South African Women’s Open by two shots at Erinvale Country & Golf Estate.
In an exciting final round, Delacour sealed the deal with two crucial birdies in her final four holes closing with 70 on 14 under par.
South African Casandra Alexander took second place with 12 under par.
Australia’s Kelsey Bennett and England’s Bronte Law shared third place on 11 under par.
The tournament is co-sanctioned by the Sunshine Ladies Tour and the Ladies European Tour. This means players earn ranking points on both tours.
132 players participate representing 37 countries, over 72 holes.
The prize purse has risen steadily to reach €340,000 (approx R7-million), the biggest in Southern Africa, making the season finale the most lucrative on the Sunshine Ladies Tour.

Investec Order of Merit
Over and above the substantial prize purse on offer through the Investec SA Women's Open there's an additional opportunity to walk away with R200,000 through the Investec Order of Merit.
The Investec Order of Merit is based on a points system, and the top three placed professionals on the final Investec Order of Merit gain automatic entry into the 2026 Investec SA Women’s Open.
In order to qualify for the Investec Order of Merit bonus prize, players must have competed in at least four events in the 2025 Sunshine Ladies Tour season.
South Africa’s Casandra Alexander claimed this year’s Investec Order of Merit. Alexander had the best season of her career where she didn’t finish outside the top five in seven tournaments, including a win and three runner-up finishes.
“I feel like I really earned it this year. My team and I have worked so hard to get me in the right place to be able to play any golf course in any condition at any time," she said.

The winning four
Investec-sponsored golfer Kaiyuree Moodley won the R&A Rookie of the Year Award after an impressive first season on the Sunshine Tour where she had three top-10s and also finished sixth on the Investec Order of Merit.
And South Africa’s Gia Raad walked away with the Jackie Mercer trophy as the leading amateur. Raad was the only amateur to make the cut and closed with a 75 to finish on level par.
