Custody and Dealing Services
Ours is a fully-integrated execution-only securities dealing and custody service operated through our Guernsey office. Client instructions to place purchase or sale orders will be passed onto our Guernsey Office, and once accepted by them these orders will be executed as soon as reasonably practicable for settlement by the Bank’s approved stockbroker.
Our custody and dealing service lets you buy or sell equities, bonds, funds and unit trusts and hold portfolios in our nominee name. We take custody of the investments in your portfolio, but we don’t provide any discretion, nor investment advice.
Our Guernsey office will hold your money in a client-designated account, registered in the name of Investec Bank (Channel Islands) Nominees Limited, and each portfolio has its own unique and secure nominee number.
How custody and dealing works with Investec
To use this service, you’ll need to open an Investec bank account. This is an execution-only service for clients with a minimum portfolio value of £100,000 who wish to manage their own investments and maintain the safekeeping of their assets offshore. The portfolio is held in Guernsey.
Our custody and dealing solution is designed for clients who don’t need investment advice as part of the service.
