We will use your personal data for:

vi. retaining your personal data processed as part of our Regulatory Assessments for future services entered into by you

b. enforcing and defending our and our affiliates’ rights, either ourselves, or through third parties
c. quality, business analysis, training and related purposes
viii. conducting direct marketing as described under heading ‘Marketing’ below
ix. otherwise as necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations or codes of practice.
The provision of personal data by you may be necessary in order for us, and other third parties to which personal data are disclosed, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations or for the performance of any contractual relationship with you or, for any other purposes, where it is in our legitimate interests to process such information (such as those described under paragraphs (i) (to the extent not covered by contractual obligation), (iii), (v), (vi), (vii)(c) and (viii) above).
In processing your personal data, Investec and its service providers may use generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing and other similar technologies (together "AI") to assist with tasks. Investec will only use AI when Investec has determined that those tools allow Investec to protect your personal data. In addition, other applications used by Investec and its service providers may incorporate AI elements.
We do not intend to make any decisions about you based on automated processing of personal data.
Out of hours support for Investec Online is provided by the Investec Client Support Centre (CSC). When calling the CSC, your identity must be authenticated before we can discuss details of your account. One method of authentication used by the CSC includes voice recognition software which is used to identify you based off previously recorded data. Personal data collected for this purpose is considered special category data under applicable data protection law. Investec will only use this method of authentication where you have provided explicit consent for it to be used, which will be asked when calling the CSC. You may withdraw such consent at any time by contacting IBCIdataprotection@investec.com. If you do not wish to use voice recognition, alternative authentication methods will be used and no voice records will be created for the purpose of voice recognition.
