How do I make my first deposit into an Invetsec account I’ve applied for?

To open the account, you need to pay in some of your own money. This is called an opening deposit. 

Making a transfer

It's as simple as making a transfer from an existing account of yours to your new Investec bank account. 

How do I get my salary paid in?

To arrange to have your salary paid into your new Investec account, please speak to the person or team who handles your salary payments.

How do I find out the PIN to my Investec card?

When you activate your card on Investec Online or in the Investec App, you'll be given a PIN, which you can then change as you wish. 

Can I switch an existing account to my new Investec account?

Yes, you can easily switch your account from another bank to Investec using the Current Account Switch Service.
