I look after investment portfolios for a range of private clients, trusts, charities and personal pension schemes. My management responsibilities include being a member of the Sheffield office's Management Committee and chairing our sales and marketing committee.
After graduating, I worked briefly for the Government Economic Service. In 1987, I joined Sheffield-based stockbroking firm Nicholson Barber, becoming a partner in 1995. The business was acquired by BWD Securities in 1999 and eventually became part of Investec Wealth & Investment.
I’m a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (Chartered FCSI), having graduated from Durham University in 1986 with a degree in Economics.
I regularly play five-a-side football and enjoy road cycling and hill walking. I also like watching sport – particularly football and cricket – and enjoy travel and going to the theatre.
