Background/Experience
I’ve worked in the finance industry for the past 14 years. After spending nine years as an officer with the Royal Navy where I served variously in the Falklands, with NATO and The Fleet Air Arm, I joined BWD Rensburg (now Investec) in 1999 before moving on to HSBC Private Bank in 2007. There I managed a portfolio of mainly entrepreneurial clients as well as serving as the Northern team’s hedge fund specialist.
Qualifications
I have a degree in Economics and I’m a Chartered Fellow of The Securities & Investment Institute. I also hold the Diploma of The Personal Finance Society and the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate.
My interests
I’m a member of Sandiway Golf Club in Cheshire and also enjoys football and cricket.
