What's happened to Investec Wealth & Investment?

In 2023, Investec Wealth & Investment (UK) ("IW&I) became part of Rathbones Group Plc, forming one of the UK's leading wealth management providers for individuals and families, charities, financial advisers, and other professional partners.

Investec Group is a supportive, long-term shareholder, owning 41.25% of the economic interest in the combined Rathbones Group Plc. This reflects Investec Group’s long-term commitment to the UK wealth management sector and establishes a long-term, strategic partnership between the two businesses, which we're confident will benefit our clients and colleagues alike.
