Meet the equities team

Ruaidhri joined Investec in 2021 to help build out the European equities desk. He was previously a Director at Deutsche Numis in London where he worked on the trading desk covering the TMT and Retail sectors in the UK SMID space. He holds an honours degree in Economics from University College Dublin. Outside of work, Ruaidhri enjoys all things the Arts related. He is a part time playwright and enjoys supporting various creative projects throughout Ireland. He has written and produced two award winning short films.

Ben joined Investec in April 2025. Before Investec he spent over nine years at Davy. While at Davy he spent time in wealth management before moving to capital markets to work on the equity sales team where he covered the UK, US & Europe.

Ben holds an Honours BSc degree from Technological University Dublin and is a QFA, CFP® & FINRA designated member. Outside of work Ben enjoys all things sport and travel. However, his real passion is for horse racing and the bloodstock industry. He helps run a small family bloodstock business where they pinhook thoroughbred racehorses every year.
