Investec provides debt financing to support Astorg & Acturis
Investec Corporate and Investment Banking (“Investec”) has provided debt finance in support of Astorg Partners’ (“Astorg”) minority investment in Acturis Group Ltd (“Acturis”), a leading digital platform for the insurance industry.
As part of this transaction, Summit Partners has exited its investment in Acturis, which sees Astorg come in as a new minority shareholder alongside the existing founder-led management team. The Acturis SaaS Platform is an administration, distribution and underwriting platform used by insurance brokers and underwriters in the general insurance market, supporting both personal and commercial insurance.
Astorg is an independent private equity firm with over €8 billion of assets under management. Astorg seeks to partner with entrepreneurial management teams to acquire global companies and create value through the provision of strategic guidance, experienced governance, and adequate capital.
