Recognised as the leading wine competition in the country, The Trophy Wine Show celebrates excellence by awarding the best wines across multiple categories, with blind tasting conducted by a panel of respected experts.

Every year the judges sift and sip through around 650 wines to identify South Africa's best.

The stringent, internationally recognised judging criteria enhances quality and improves our competitiveness on the international fine wine market.

The Trophy Spirits Show identifies the best spirits and liqueurs available in and for the South African market, or produced in South Africa for export, and is open to all producers and importers.

The shows score and rank all products across a series of categories, and awards a trophy to best-in-class submissions, providing they are of gold medal standard.
