Investec acted as Coordinating Lead Arranger and Joint Bookrunner to MPH Sunrise, LLC

586MW combined cycle combustion turbine plant located in Kern County, California

In June 2023, Investec Energy & Infrastructure Finance closed a 5-year $240 million senior-secured debt financing to support Hull Street Energy in its acquisition of Sunrise.


Our role

Investec acted as Coordinating Lead Arranger, Joint Bookrunner and Administrative Agent. In its capacity Investec led the structuring and syndication of the credit facilities. Investec underwrote $120 million, providing execution certainty to Hull Street Energy early in the bookrunning process and achieved successful syndication by financial close.

Sunrise is a 586MW combined cycle combustion turbine plant located in Kern County, California. Sunrise is a critical source of efficient baseload power and capacity in California.
