Investec has advised Hivest Capital Partners and the management team of Face Group on a secondary LBO backed by Montefiore Investment
About the deal
Founded in 1979, Face is a leading French provider of multi-technical works and services dedicated to the performance and decarbonisation of professional buildings. Historically specialised in waterproofing, roofing, insulation and cladding for steel-frame buildings, the Group has progressively expanded its offering to address both new-build and renovation projects.
Through a nationwide network of 31 subsidiaries and branches, Face provides an integrated offering combining high-performance insulated building envelopes, energy-efficient systems and maintenance services. Over recent years, the Group has notably strengthened its capabilities in renovation, photovoltaic solutions and electrical engineering, supporting its ambition to become a leading partner for the energy performance of professional buildings.
Backed by Hivest Capital Partners since 2021 and supported by a strengthened management team since 2023, Face has accelerated its transformation and completed five acquisitions, broadening its service offering and reinforcing its national coverage. In 2025, the Group employed more than 820 people and generated close to €400 million of revenue.
Following a competitive process led by Investec, Montefiore Investment emerged as the preferred partner to support Face’s next phase of development. Montefiore becomes the Group’s majority shareholder alongside the management team and employees, who significantly reinvest in the transaction.
With Montefiore’s support, Face intends to accelerate the development of its renovation, maintenance, photovoltaic and electrical engineering activities, further leverage synergies across its business lines, densify its territorial footprint and pursue targeted acquisitions in a fragmented market.
