With your Investec Voyage private banking account, you, your partner, and any children of yours under 19 years old (and under 21 if they’re in full-time education) receive AXA Investec Visa Platinum travel insurance – even if they're not travelling with you.
About the travel insurance policy
The AXA Investec Visa Platinum travel insurance is a package which includes several different types of cover, so it's important you read about them in the AXA Investec Visa Platinum travel insurance Policy Document and the AXA Insurance Product Information Document. Please read these documents so you know what you are covered for and when a claim might be restricted, limited or refused. The policy's exclusions are summarised below.

COVID-19 coverage
AXA Investec Visa Platinum travel insurance includes cover for COVID-19 costs, as long as you haven't travelled against advice from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
Exclusions
Exclusions based on where you live
You must be a UK, Jersey, Guernsey or Isle of Man resident to benefit from the AXA travel insurance.
Exclusions based on your age
AXA will assess your cover every year, starting from when you opened your Voyage account.
You must be younger than 80 years old at the start of the annual cover period to benefit from section 1 - Cancellation or Cutting Short your Trip, section 2 - Medical Emergency and Repatriation Expenses. If you’re 79 and turn 80 during a cover period, you’ll continue to be covered until the end of that annual cover period.
You won't be covered under Section 13 – Car hire excess waiver once you turn 80.
You won't be covered for any claim under Section 13 – Car hire excess waiver if you are under 21 years old at the time of the incident which triggers your claim.
Exclusions based on pre-existing medical conditions
You won’t be covered under Section 1 – Cancellation or Cutting Short your Trip, Section 2 – Medical Emergency and Repatriation Expenses and Section 6 – Personal Accident if your claim arises directly or indirectly from a pre-existing medical condition.
