The Northern Ireland branch of the Personal Finance Society (PFS) held its annual awards ceremony in May this year and we were delighted to continue our sponsorship of one of the awards, for those completing the CII Diploma in Financial Advice.

This year’s ceremony was the first since 2019, as the 2020 and 2021 awards were postponed due to the pandemic. So, 2022 saw the presentation of three years of awards in one ceremony, hosted at the prestigious Belfast City Hall for the first time.

Our Business Development Director, Julie Reilly, was in attendance to present the Investec Wealth & Investment award trophy to those who came first, second and third in their year, along with a cash prize for each year’s winner.

Investec Belfast has been sponsoring this award for a number of years and is proud to congratulate all those who have won, along with everyone else who has completed qualifications over the last three years.

We’d also like to congratulate Paul Kerr, Trainee Financial Planner at Investec Belfast, who won two awards of his own at the event. Paul came second for the CII Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning award and also received his Fellowship award and accompanying trophy.

We truly believe in these financial planning and investment management qualifications as the gold standard for achievement in our industry and we encourage anyone working within these areas to complete them to further their knowledge and careers.
