I am pleased to announce that we have recently been joined in the Bristol office by Investment Director Tom Freedman.

Tom is an existing trusted and valuable member of the Investec Wealth & Investment team, having worked in our Reigate office for 8 years. He has a background working with private clients, independent financial advisers, intermediaries, trusts and small charities, and a keen interest in socially responsible investment (SRI) and thematic investment solutions, alongside traditional investment portfolios.

I spoke to Tom about his relocation and his hopes for his role here, with Tom telling me: “My decision to relocate with my family was influenced by the opportunity in the region and also the fact that I will be returning to my roots, having been born in Bristol. Bristol has always been a business centre of great importance and the key city in the region. There has been an increasing number of entrepreneurs creating businesses in the city and larger national and global firms have been enlarging their operations. This has provided an opportunity for the city to become fully self-supporting and with our knowledge and expertise. Investec is perfectly positioned to provide wealth management solutions to the community in the region.”

We’re excited to have Tom bring this local insight and passion to the office.
