About me
I primarily work with high-net-worth individuals, constructing and managing their investment portfolios and giving them the peace of mind that their plans for the future, including retirement, are on course. I find it extremely satisfying to help people achieve their life goals, often sooner than they expect.
Since the recent combination of the Rathbones Group and Investec Wealth & Investment UK, I now lead an expanded team of investment and wealth managers, responsible for a combined total of more than £40 billion in assets. I aim to ensure that every private client receives the highest standard of bespoke investment and wealth management.
Background/Experience
Since graduating with an honours degree in Economics from the University of Reading, I have accumulated over two decades of experience in private banking and investment management, previously working at Societe Generale, Killik & Co, and BNP Paribas Fortis.
I joined Investec Wealth & Investment UK in 2011, initially as a Senior Investment Director and later becoming a Divisional Lead. This led to my current role as Head of the London Office for the newly combined Rathbones Group, which incorporates Investec Wealth & Investment (UK).
I’m a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment – considered the peak of professionalism in the industry – and I'm proud to have received a Merit in the Private Client Investment Advice and Management certificate.
My interests
Outside of work, much of my time is filled with athletic pursuits. I love to run, and have completed the Marathon des Sables, aka the “toughest footrace on earth”. It’s a six-day, 250 km ultra-marathon through the Sahara Desert, which I understand isn’t everyone’s idea of fun. I also appreciate good food and wine.
