About me
A key part of my job is to understand a client's current and ongoing situation. From there, I can help them build a portfolio which meets their requirements both now and in the future. I work with a range of clients from private clients, trusts, charities, pensions schemes and institutional accounts. By utilising Investec’s in-house research team I can identify suitable portfolio components, matching clients’ risk profiles and objectives to investment portfolios that will deliver the best possible outcome.
Background/Experience
I started my career in wealth management in 2002 at Gerrard Investment Management. During my time at Gerrard and Investec, I have built up experience operating in various market conditions and have a good understanding of different asset classes. I have been working with my current team for over a decade and continue to enjoy the challenge of looking after a varied client base. I am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (Chartered FCSI) having passed the CISI Level 6 Diploma, which included the Private Client Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM) exam. In addition, I also have a degree in International Finance and Capital Markets.
My interests
I enjoy spending time with my family, often heading out at weekends to explore new walks locally or in the surrounding countryside. I have a passion for sports with various degrees of success in athletics, fencing, CrossFit and cycling, although my current focus is on triathlons.
