Investec provided a US$50m capital call facility to the AIIF4 Seed Partnership, an infrastructure fund managed by Africa Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM), a wholly owned subsidiary of Old Mutual Alternative Investments.
About AIIF4
AIIF4 Seed Partnership is the seed fund for AIIM’s fourth African infrastructure fund. This fund is intended to roll into the main AIIF4 fund once it reaches first close.
African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM), a subsidiary of Old Mutual Alternative Investments, develops and manages private equity infrastructure funds designed to invest long-term institutional unlisted equity in African infrastructure projects.
AIIM actively manages investments in East, West and Southern Africa and has equity under management of USD 2.0 billion with a track record extending across seven African infrastructure funds.
