The Global Start-up Ecosystem Ranking named Berlin the fastest growing start-up ecosystem in the world, receiving more venture capital than any other European city. Of the €3 billion spent on European start-ups in 2015, a whopping €2.1 billion went to those based in Berlin.

When it comes to FinTech, a large proportion of young talent has moved to Berlin to join the rapidly growing start-up ecosystem. As a result, the FinTech industry in the city has raced ahead and is now one of the leaders in the world.
