I head up the preference share team within Investec Corporate & Institutional Bank. The team is responsible for both an asset and liability preference share book and we have in excess of R13.5b assets under management. We offer dividend yielding investment products aimed at both the retail and corporate investor. The team is made up of skilled individuals from different disciplines that develop asset and funding solutions best suited to the Investec client base, including corporates and high net worth individuals who make use of a sophisticated product set. We assist clients in raising capital through preference shares and have a strong distribution team with good access to investors looking for alternative asset classes.
