Head: Financial products
Financial Products consists of a number of specialist teams which service institutional and corporate clients (asset managers, insurers, stockbrokers, financial intermediaries and corporates). We pride ourselves in having the technical expertise to find solutions for a sophisticated and complex client segment. Our product set includes loan and preference share funding, debt capital markets, structured products, fixed income and credit distribution as well as balance sheet structuring and optimisation.

Background/experience
I completed accounting articles at Ernst & Young in 2001 and joined Investec in early 2002. Initially, I fulfilled various roles in Finance for ICIB and headed up the finance function by 2006. In 2007 I moved into Financial products where I was involved with the Preference Share Business, Structured products and others. I have headed up Financial products since June 2017.
Qualifications
Bcom Acc, H Dip Acc, CA (SA). I also completed the programme for leadership development at Harvard Business School in 2017.
What drives me

My interest
I enjoy the outdoors, whether that is fishing, hiking, game viewing, mountain biking or golfing. I am married with two children and I spend most weekends watching them play sport!
