Head: Debt capital markets
I head up Investec Debt Capital Markets. We assist clients to access the capital markets in various forms (commercial paper, bonds, securitisation, repacks). We give objective advice to ensure long term sustainable funding solutions.
Background/experience
I joined Investec to drive the development of the bank’s debt capital markets franchise. I have 18 years investment banking experience at Investec, Standard Bank, Merrill Lynch (UK) and Credit Lyonnais Rouse (UK) where I executed transactions across various banking products including credit derivatives, scrip lending, preference shares and debt origination. Since 2003 I have been involved in the South African debt capital markets where I am responsible for the execution of various securitisations and structured debt raising transactions. Prior to joining Investec I spent three years at Sasfin Bank heading the Group Treasury function.

Finding solutions for clients and building long-term relationships with them. I love working at Investec because it’s innovative, solution-driven and nimble.
My interests and hobbies
I love playing golf. It is something that I do with my family on a regular basis.
