I am responsible for a team of investment managers and associated investment assistants and support. The team as a whole predominantly manages private clients, taxable portfolios and ISAS, JISAS, SIPPs, family trusts, small charities and some corporate accounts. In addition, we have well-established relationships with accountants and solicitors. We have a significant wealth of experience in the team with the average length of service in the wealth industry of around three decades. We offer clients a bespoke and personal service managing clients on a discretionary basis, which we have done successfully for many years.
I started my career training as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross in the late 70's and then changed tack moving into the wealth management industry, working for Vivian Grey for four years. I then moved to Sheppards and Chase which through the years, and following a number of corporate changes, became part of Investec. I passed the original stock exchange exams and became a member of the London Stock Exchange in 1986 and I have been a Chartered Fellow of the Institute for Securities and Investment since inception.
When away from work I enjoy watching most sport and in particular horse racing and rugby. My other interests include photography, antiques, travelling and exploring other cultures, and of course spending time with friends and family.
