Meet the equities team

James joined in April 2021. Before Investec he spent eight years at Kepler Cheuvreux doing Pan European Sales. Before that he was two year each at MF Global and ABN AMRO. Prior to that he was nine years at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, the first half of which was Japan Sales.

Hande has 19 years of experience in the securities industry and joined Investec in 2014 as an EM equity research salesperson primarily focusing on South Africa and SSA markets. She entered the industry as an equity research analyst covering TMT, consumer, steel sectors & conglomerates and then transitioned to EM EMEA equity research sales in 2005. Hande has worked at DB’s US CEEMA and UBS’ US EM EMEA sales desks for 9 years before joining Investec. During her tenure as an equity research sales person, she covered both US-based long-only institutional equity investors and hedge funds. Hande holds an MBA degree from Cornell University and a CPA title.

Jennifer joined Investec in 2025 and specializes in relationship and logistics management within UK Equities and Corporate Access for North America institutional investors. With over a decade of experience in event management, Jennifer brings a unique perspective from her previous work on Broadway and Regional Theatres.

Gerard joined Investec in November 2025. Prior to joining Investec, he spent two years at Rothschild & Co Redburn in Global Equity Sales, covering US-based long-only institutions and hedge funds. Previously, he held roles at Joseph Gunnar & Co. and ThinkEquity, where he focused on executing capital markets transactions for emerging growth companies.

Daniel joined Investec in 2026 to lead the Equity Sales team in New York. He focuses on servicing US institutional investors, strengthening relationship management and supporting access to Investec’s equity sales, trading and research platform. Daniel has 19 years of industry experience, including roles at Peel Hunt and Panmure Liberum.
