Awande Ngcobo

Awande is an admitted attorney and holds BA and LLB degrees both from the University of Cape Town. Prior to joining Investec, he spent 6 years as a practicing attorney at a prominent law firm in Durban where he obtained experience in transaction advisory and commercial litigation and public law litigation.

He joined Investec in 2024 and moved into the Tax and Fiduciary team in June of 2025. His work focuses on cross-border tax, exchange control and estate planning to assist our client in navigating complex legal, tax and succession considerations.

A former university athlete, Awande developed a strong sense of comradery, teamwork and personal excellence. These principles are his foundation when navigating the world that is cross-border tax and his professional life at large.

Awande continues to advance his professional arsenal through a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning as he works towards becoming a Certified Financial Planner®.
