Barry Shamley

Barry is the lead fund manager of the multi-award winning Investec BCI Dynamic Equity Fund* as well as the Investec Global Sustainable Equity fund.

He is a voting committee member of Long-Term Growth Mandate and the South African Asset Allocation Committee.

Barry is deeply involved in driving the integration of Responsible Investment into our broader investment process. He chairs the Responsible Investment Committee and is a member of the Investec Group Executive Sustainability committee.

Barry started his career at Investec in 19996 and in addition to BA (Law) and BCom (Hons) FAPM degrees, he holds CFA UK certificates in Impact Investing, Climate and Investing and ESG Investing.
