Janneth Mazibuko

As a copywriter in the Private Banking Marketing team, I create and refine communications that bring Investec’s products, services and expertise to life. My work includes the Everything Counts podcast content and articles for the Young Professionals client segment, the Medical portfolio’s Peak Practice series and the Digital and Fraud portfolios. Born and raised in Johannesburg, I’m passionate about championing African narratives and helping brands connect with their audiences through clear, engaging and impactful storytelling.

I began my career in banking as a financial copywriter and have since worked with brands including Publicis Groupe, Sun International and First National Bank, specialising in digital and UX copywriting. I studied brand communications at the University of Johannesburg and creative writing at the Da Vinci Institute. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing fiction and playing the guitar.
