Jo is adviser to several high-net-worth individuals in various industries. An admitted attorney and tax practitioner, she found her passion in the ever-changing world of domestic and international tax and fiduciary.
She holds an LLB and BCom (Law) from Stellenbosch University. She also holds a certificate in estate and trust administration. Following her studies, she spent two years in high-profile corporate and commercial litigation before joining a multinational offshore trust company. There she developed a passion for international fiduciary, tax and cross-border structuring.
Her clients included high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs and multinational enterprises. During this period, she spoke at the 2018 Tax Indaba on the new realities of offshore planning. She also wrote articles for professional magazines Tax Talk and Without Prejudice.
She first consulted to Investec clients for a year. In 2019, she joined Investec Wealth and Investment International as a tax and fiduciary specialist.
