Nosiphiwo Balfour

As an experienced corporate property specialist, Nosiphiwo Balfour is passionate about seeing property and funding investments to fruition.

She started her career at Standard Bank Property Finance, before joining Investec Property in 2006 as a listed property analyst whilst also providing key input on feasibility and due diligence research for its direct property portfolio.


In 2010, she joined Ninety One (formerly Investec Asset Management) as a sales manager and property specialist in its institutional team, based in Cape Town.


From 2017 to 2018, Nosiphiwo was the CEO of Texton Property Fund, a multi-billion rand real estate investment fund with properties in the UK and SA.


Following some time in providing commercial property advisory for private clients, in 2020, she again joined Investec in the Structured Property Finance team in South Africa as a structured property finance specialist.

Nosiphiwo was a 2018 Honouree of the Seven Percent Tribe, an organisation which recognises female executives in leadership. She was also a nominee for the 2018 SA Women in Property Awards – Professional of the Year: Private Sector category.

Nosiphiwo holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Property Studies from the University of Cape Town (2005) and a post-graduate Diploma in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management from the University of Johannesburg (2010).
