Sinenhlanhla Sithomo

I lead the life insurance business at Investec Life, overseeing product development, pricing and insurance innovation.

My actuarial experience spans life insurance, healthcare financing, savings and investments, with a focus on product design, product management and technical marketing.

Previously, I was head of technical marketing at Discovery, responsible for product design, distribution strategies, product positioning and the roll-out of new and enhanced health and rewards benefits. I also worked at Old Mutual as an actuarial consultant and later as a product and value proposition manager.

I am a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA) and hold a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours) in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town and a Master of Science in Finance, Leadership and Management from the University of York.
