Nicole Garcia is one of South Africa’s leading professional golfers, competing on the Ladies European Tour and Sunshine Ladies Tour. Known for her resilience and determination, she has overcome significant injury setbacks to return to top-level competition and continues to inspire through her perseverance on and off the course. Behind her success is the unwavering support of her husband, Grant Veenstra, whose understanding of the demands of professional golf has helped her navigate the challenges of a global sporting career. Together, they exemplify the importance of partnership, resilience and mutual support in achieving excellence.
Ivanna Samu
Ivanna Samu’s journey in professional golf is a story of resilience, family sacrifice and determination. A former South African amateur standout, she has overcome personal challenges, including a battle with cancer, while continuing to compete at the highest level. At the heart of her success is the unwavering support of her family, particularly her father, Danny Samu. From driving her to tournaments and carrying her bag when resources were limited, to instilling the resilience that defines her today, his influence remains a driving force behind her achievements. Ivanna’s story is a powerful reminder of the impact of family, perseverance and belief in the pursuit of excellence.
Kaiyuree Moodley
Kaiyuree Moodley represents the next generation of South African women’s golf. Having played the game since the age of four, she built an impressive amateur career that included representing South Africa internationally before earning a golf scholarship in the United States. After turning professional in 2025, she quickly established herself as one of the country’s most promising young talents, earning Rookie of the Year honours on the Sunshine Ladies Tour. Driven by a desire to inspire young girls to pursue their ambitions without limitation, Kaiyuree combines exceptional talent, determination and a commitment to creating opportunities for those who follow in her footsteps.
Symone Henriques
From representing South Africa as a Protea golfer to turning professional in 2024, Symone Henrique's journey has been built on consistency and hard work. Now competing on the Ladies European Tour, she's excited to prove herself against the best players in the world and earn an international ranking.
Zané Kleynhans
This talented 19-year-old recently turned pro, is currently 18th on the Investec Order of Merit and is determined to make her family proud by qualifying for the LET (Ladies European Tour) in December and showing her mettle on the European circuit.
Investec strengthens women’s golf with bigger purse and new partnerships
Investec has announced an expanded commitment to women's professional golf in South Africa, including an increased prize purse for the Investec South African Women's Open, a renewed five-year partnership with the Sunshine Ladies Tour, and the signing of two new sponsored players.
