Purpose becomes more powerful when it's shared

In 2024, Investec x The Marble Consortium (Marble Group, G&G Productions and GRID Worldwide) introduced the South African public to a first-of-its-kind experience.
The Luxurious Marble Circus transported attendees into a whimsical world where they enjoyed the decadent delights of the award-winning Marble Group of restaurants, curated by celebrity chef, David Higgs. The experience was fun, festive and fantastical. Truly Out of the Ordinary.

The heart of Investec

At Investec we are deeply invested in making a meaningful contribution to our communities, our country, and the world we live in. We achieve this by being responsible corporate citizens, making a significant social impact, and leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.

Our approach to the Luxurious Marble Circus reflects these values.

Our key objectives include:

Donating

a quarter of a million rand to organisations such as Holanathi, The National School of the Arts, and Marang House. This funding ensured the distribution of nutritious meals to more than 2,000 children, supported budding talent at one of our iconic arts institutions, and inspired hope for children battling serious illnesses.

Giving

up-and-coming talent an amazing opportunity to perform at The Luxurious Marble Circus. It also included skills development and job creation.

Establishing

intentional sustainability practices to proactively reduce and measure the festival’s carbon footprint. We are partnering with Yellowtree, a carbon accounting company, to conduct an independent sustainability audit that will set a benchmark for future events.

Reducing our carbon footprint

by collecting 17 tonnes of waste and recycling 51% of all cans, plastic, glass, cardboard, and paper used at the Luxurious Marble Circus, preventing more than 8.6 tonnes of waste from ending up in a landfill.
