So if the Bank of England Base Rate goes up beyond 1.75%, you will earn the Bank of England Base Rate plus 0.50%

Interest rate details
The 3 Year Base Rate Plus (Release 2) Issue 12 pays the Bank of England Base Rate plus 0.50%, with a competitive guaranteed minimum rate of 2.25% AER*.
Term length
The term of the account is three years. You will not be able to close early or withdraw your money during this three year term.
Eligibility
A minimum balance of £25,000 is required to open your 3 Year Base Rate Plus account. The maximum balance is £2,000,000.

All Fixed Term Deposits will be opened with an Investec E-asy Access account. This provides you with a convenient account into which your interest can be paid and your deposit can mature. This is a fee-free easy access account and pays a competitive rate of interest and allows unlimited free withdrawals.
