About me
My priority is to help my clients achieve their long term financial objectives. I construct and manage tailored investment portfolios that are suitable for their present and future needs, taking into account their risk levels and objectives, current position and long-term goals. I manage assets on behalf of private individuals, charities, trusts and personal pension schemes, using Investec’s excellent in-house research team to monitor and tailor these portfolios. I will often work closely with client advisors, financial planners, accountants to ensure these client objectives are met in the most tax efficient way.
Background/Experience
I have worked in wealth management all of my career and have formed strong relationships with my clients and younger generations of their families over many years, which has fortunately also led to clients referring friends. Before joining Investec (formally Carr Sheppards Crosthwaite / Henderson Crosthwaite) in 1991, I worked at Brown Shipley building my knowledge and expertise. I am also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
My interests
I am passionate about watching and playing sport, sadly now more watching than participating having injured a foot running too many marathons. I still play tennis, ski and my particular passion is fly fishing. I also love to cook and entertain, collect fine wine and relax with a good book.
