About me
I’m responsible for the day-to-day management of portfolios for private individuals, private limited companies, trusts, charities and pension clients. I have a particular interest in environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations within investment management and manage a number of bespoke portfolios for clients with specific ethical preferences. I also actively engage in the Group’s investment process, sitting on the Equity Collectives Committee.
Background/Experience
After graduating with an LLB (Hons.) and then completing my postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, I spent two years working for an insolvency practitioner. I began my career in finance with BWD Rensburg in Sheffield in 2000, before relocating to the Leeds office in 2007. I am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and I hold the CISI Diploma.
My interests
I enjoy holidays, arts and crafts, reading and spending time with my family. I have been a season ticket holder at Sheffield Wednesday FC for over three decades, although I can't say this has always been an enjoyable experience.
