My priority is to ensure investment portfolios are structured in line with objectives and risk profile to deliver the optimal outcome for the client. In addition to managing portfolios, I also sit on both the UK Investment Committee and the Multi Asset Mandate Oversight Committee, which together assume responsibility for all aspects of the investment process.
I have over two decades of experience in wealth management and have managed portfolios for individuals, trusts, charities and pension funds in that time, as a Chartered FCSI. Prior to joining Investec in 2014 I was Head of the discretionary portfolio management team at Deutsche Bank in Edinburgh. In addition to my industry experience I also hold a BSc (1st class hons.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh.
I enjoy skiing, cycling, golf, football and rugby, as both a spectator and a participant, although in the case of rugby I’m a spectator only now. I also enjoy spending time with my three young sons, much of which is spent watching them all play rugby.

Known to my immediate colleagues as something of a Kit Kat enthusiast.
Investec is large enough to have a fully resourced and experienced research team, but small enough to allow client portfolios to be constructed to truly reflect their circumstances as an individual.
