About me
My priority is to understand my client’s financial goals and tailor bespoke solutions to suit their overall investment objectives. An important part of my role is to view my client’s wealth holistically and manage their investments to reflect their aspirations and level of risk, in order to deliver successful outcomes over the longer term. I specialise in managing investment portfolios for private clients, charities, pension funds and trusts, and I have a particular interest and experience in working alongside other professional advisers to develop client relationships with entrepreneurs and business owners.
Background/Experience
With over three decades of experience in financial services I have always focussed on building long-term relationships with all my clients. Prior to joining Investec in 1997, I advised on all aspects of financial planning at the IFA subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group. As such I am both a Chartered Financial Planner and a Chartered Wealth Manager. I have also been independently nominated for inclusion in the Spear's 500 HNW Wealth Managers index 2021 edition. This is an independent guide to the top private client advisers, wealth managers, lawyers and service providers for HNW individuals.
My interests
I am a keen cyclist and motor racing fan and also like to keep my weight in check by visiting the gym. Music and dancing are also my passion, as many friends and colleagues will testify. Travelling and seeing new places around the world and experiencing local cultures and food is also at the top of my list.
