About me
I am responsible for advising my clients on how to manage their wealth to achieve their financial objectives. I create and implement tailored wealth management plans based on each client's individual circumstances, requirements and financial goals. Predominantly, I work with business owners and their families, pre and post exit, to help them grow and protect their wealth. This often means working in partnership with my client's accountants, lawyers and other professional advisers to ensure my clients are managing their overall wealth tax efficiently. I also work closely with my colleagues in the research team, financial planning team and a number of independent financial advisers, to provide the best possible solutions. In addition, I work closely with colleagues in our banking division who provide private banking and corporate advisory services.
Background/Experience
With over two decades of experience working in financial services I have built excellent and long standing relationships with all of my clients. I am regarded as a trusted adviser to multiple generations of the families I work with. These relationships are built on open and honest dialogue and a track record of implementing successful wealth management plans. I began my career in financial services as an independent financial adviser with AWD Chase de Vere. In 2007, I joined Kleinwort Benson as a private banker before joining Investec in 2011 as a senior investment director. I am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, and I hold the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.
My interests
I am a keen golfer and enjoying keeping fit. I also enjoy spending time with my family and taking my son to various sporting activities.
