About me

My focus is helping clients to look after their assets by building portfolios of investments to suit their needs. I work with a range of clients from private individuals to trusts and charities. A large part of my role is to understand clients’ circumstances, their requirements and financial objectives. In doing so I can help them to build a tailored investment portfolio to match their present and future needs. This can range from producing additional income in retirement to focusing on long-term growth for the next generation. To provide an all-encompassing solution for clients I also work alongside our financial planning team who specialise in providing financial planning advice on areas such as retirement planning, tax planning (including inheritance tax) and life-stage planning. 

Background/Experience

In order to ensure that I can provide the highest level of service to clients I have undertaken, and continue to undertake, an array of professional qualifications. Awarded by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) I am a CISI Chartered Wealth Manager, CISI Chartered Member (Chartered MCSI), and hold the CISI Investment Advice Diploma (Securities & Derivatives). I also hold a first-class Honours degree in Economics from the University of Liverpool.

My interests

When not working I enjoy spending time with my wife, Sophie. We like travelling to experience new cultures and cuisines. Whilst at home we enjoy eating in independent local restaurants. In my spare time I enjoy reading - George Orwell is a favourite author of mine. I am also an avid sports fan with a particular interest in football.
