About me

I provide financial planning advice to a wide range of private clients. I cover all areas of financial planning, but I am particularly interested in cashflow planning and advising those who have recently acquired wealth, for example from a business sale or inheritance. This frequently involves working closely with other professional advisers to offer the best outcome for my clients.

Background/Experience

I graduated from Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge with a Mathematics degree in 2000. I spent eight years working at Barnett Waddingham and two years at Mercer in similar roles before joining Investec where I manage and lead the Liverpool financial planning team.

Qualifications include:

  • Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society
  • Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment
  • Affiliate Member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners

 

My interests

I play squash and enjoy cooking. I also play a wide range of board games, including the ancient Chinese/Japanese game of Go, a game which has very simple rules and concepts, but a complex strategy.
