Through this, we gave our clients access to our full suite of banking and investment services, both locally and internationally – all in One Place™ – enabling them to create, grow, preserve and protect their wealth through us.

And, the results speak for itself. For the sixth year in a row, Investec Private Banking and Wealth & Investment was recognised as the best private bank and wealth manager in South Africa at the 2018 Global Private Banking Awards hosted by the Financial Times of London.

Through Investec Online and our App, clients get a consolidated view of their banking and investment accounts, locally and internationally, on one platform with one login, from anywhere in the world. A great example is the ability to open a UK Private bank account through Investec Online in a few minutes – not weeks – as is the industry standard. It’s efficient, online and no hassle.

Enhancing our proposition

We have continued to innovate and build capabilities on our digital platforms that enhance security, drive engagement and save clients’ time.

In 2017, we extended our proposition to the entire family, with the launch of the Investec Youth Account and Youth App for the children of Investec Private Bank Account clients.

In 2018, we launched Investec Life, where clients can apply for and secure comprehensive life cover online. They can now protect their lives and livelihood in One Place™.
