We distribute to more than 1,000 institutions across our markets and many of our team’s relationships with individual fund managers have been built over decades. The depth of trust in such relationships means we are highly influential in promoting the interests of our corporate clients to investors.
The wide range of our research product from smallcap to largecap means that we are relevant to a very broad range of fund types from international long-only to UK long-only, hedge funds, wealth managers and private client brokers. This gives us access to a huge pool of capital for clients issuing primary and secondary equity.
Our sales team is highly experienced and stable, meaning we have had the time to build close relationships with Investec’s corporate clients as well as with institutional investors. Our team has an average of 22 years of market experience and seven years of service with Investec.
We provide exceptional investor access for corporate clients. Working with our Investor Relations team, we organise around 500 investor roadshows per annum for corporate clients and companies under research coverage, involving more than 5,000 individual investor meetings. Our annual flagship Best Ideas Conference brings together 70 companies and more than 300 institutional investors from around the world.
