Investec supports DigitalBridge and Aberdeen Investments on the acquisition of Dutch EV charging platform
Our role
Our UK Energy & Infrastructure Finance team is delighted to have acted as mandated lead arranger on a €150 million senior debt package for DigitalBridge and Aberdeen Investments (“Aberdeen”) to support the acquisition of a leading Dutch EV charging platform.
In addition to supporting the acquisition, the financing package is expected to provide further funding for the charging network’s expansion in the Netherlands. Expanded EV charging infrastructure may contribute to lower-carbon road transport where it enables the use of EVs in place of higher-emission vehicles.
We are pleased to support DigitalBridge and Aberdeen on this transaction, while continuing to provide financing for high-quality EV charging infrastructure platforms in Europe.
