Summary

Investec acted as Sole Financial Adviser and Broker to CFE on its contested takeover of CIP, a closed-ended investment company, quoted on AIM, which focuses on listed equities and other financial products and instruments using a private equity approach.

 

Our role

Investec acted as Sole Financial Adviser and Broker to CFE on its takeover of CIP. Investec provided strategic and regulatory advice to CFE on all elements of the transaction. Investec also assisted CFE in tactically acquiring 43.2% of CIP through market purchases of shares, facilitated by Investec’s dedicated corporate dealing desk, which ultimately aided CFE in securing the takeover of CIP.
