Fund Solutions provides a £112.5 million lending facility for Goldenpeak Fund I
Our role
Our UK Fund Solutions team is pleased to have provided Goldenpeak with a £112.5 million lending facility, for its inaugural fund, “Goldenpeak Fund I”.
Despite a challenging fundraising environment, Goldenpeak attracted significant investor demand, exceeding both its target and hard cap to close at £375 million in just 12 weeks.
The facility was provided to Goldenpeak shortly after their Final Close, demonstrating our ability to execute with speed and efficiency. It was put in place to provide the firm with greater flexibility at a critical stage of their investment strategy. To date, our facility has supported Goldenpeak with their first two investments (“Ampere Analysis” and “ORS”).
About Goldenpeak
Goldenpeak is a first-time fund manager led by Mark Williams and Leon Gillespie. Mark Williams brings 20 years of UK lower mid-market services investing experience, having previously worked at Inflexion and Sovereign. Leon Gillespie has 18 years of corporate advisory experience, with a background at Houlihan, Canaccord, and KPMG.
Goldenpeak Fund I is a £375m private equity fund targeting growth investments of £25-£75m in the B2B services sector. Their aim is to be the private equity partner of choice for ambitious businesses in the UK & Ireland making between £3-15m EBITDA.
